USATF Pole Vault Development Coaches Clinic
We welcome all pole vault coaches and track & field coaches who want learn more to the USATF Pole Vault Development Coaches Clinic hosted at Castle View High School. The PV Development Coaches Clinic will be structured with two one hour classroom sessions in the library, and then two outdoor sessions with demonstrated drills and on-field coaching with guest speaker Brian Yokoyama.
Brian comes to Colorado to bring his lastest pole vault development knowledge and experience and share it with coaches looking to grow and learn. Brian is very active with the USA Track and Field Pole Vault Development. He currently leads both the Men's and Women’s Pole Vault High Performance/Development as the National Chairperson. He is also a member of the Board of Directors for the North American Pole Vault Association and is actively involved in running the USATF Pole Vault Summit (3,000 attendees in Reno, NV) and the NAPVA National Championships (8,000 Spectators) in Clovis, California as Co-Director. Through the years, Brian has worked/consulted with many top national and international pole vaulters/decathletes.
